VietNamNet Bridge – The Vinpearl cableway is Vietnam’s first and longest sea cableway. It is also an important feature of Vinpearl Land Park.

The Vinpearl aerial is 3.310m long with 7 sea cable posts ranging from 55m to 65m in height. The cableway departure station is situated at Phu Quy Tourist Port of the An Vien Tourism and Ecology Zone. The arrival station is located on the entertainment hills of Vinpearl Land Park on Hon Tre Island, Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City.
The whole cableway system provided by Poma Corporation from France meets the highest standards on safety and user convenience. With 65 8-person cabins, the cableway can carry 1.500 passengers every hour from the departure to the arrival station.
Construction works started on December 2, 2005 with an investment of 200 billion dong. The project could have been completed by the end of 2006. However, it was delayed by difficulties in constructing a foundation post.
Mr. Vu Huy Thang, the chief engineer of Vinpearl Land, said that Discovery Channel was very interested in the Vinpearl cableway because not only is it the longest one in the world, there were also many creative technical solutions in the construction process.
Cabins are carried across Nha Trang Bay at 45 to 50m over the sea level. At this height, tourists will have a chance to contemplate the beauty of Nha Trang City, other tourism destinations like Hon Mun, Hon Tam, and Tri Nguyen Fish Lake, and almost all of Nha Trang Bay from a fresh viewpoint.
The light-reflecting sea posts look very beautiful at night, which may be a reason to make the Vinpearl cableway an attractive destination. But there are other interesting features inside Vinpearl Land Park such as bull riding, children’s paradise, 3-D movie theatres, and 3-D games.
Entertainment hills are conveniently linked to shopping centers, water musical stages, Exotica Dancing Floor and a cuisine village.
According to Mr. Le Khac Hiep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vinpearl Tourism and Trade Stock Company, the Vinpearl cableway is the most important attraction of Vinpearl Land Park. The company is currently choosing a good day during Tet to inaugurate the cableway.
