Every year Phu Yen has caught about 1,800 – 2,000 tonnes, mainly for exporting and processing into the special local dishes. The fresh, red meat of the tuna fish is sliced into large and thin pieces, dipped into mustard and soya bean sauce and served with some kinds of herbs like balm-mints, basels, green cabbages . . . fried groundnuts, baked ricepapers. This dish is both simply processed and suitable for receptions in restaurants, and convenient for outdoor parties . Moreover, tuna fish’s eye is a dish of original flavour, very rare and delicious, only some places have this kind of food. Once coming to Phu Yen, please try this special dish. |
